MO Disk App Installation Guide for iOS
Installation Steps
1. Open the App Store on your iOS device.
2. In the search bar, type “Mo Disk” and hit Search button.
3. Tap on the Get or Cloud icon to download and install the app.
- Note: If you are installing the Mo Disk app for the first time, you will see the Get button. If you have installed the Mo Disk app before and are reinstalling it, you will see the Cloud button.
Once the Mo Disk application has been installed, the app icon will appear on your device’s home screen.
Connecting the Datalogixx Device
4. Plug in the Datalogixx device to your iOS device.
5. A prompt message will appear. Tap Allow to grant the necessary permissions.
6. The app will launch and take you to the Welcome screen. Tap Next. You have the option to type in your email, but this is not mandatory. Then tap Finish.
- Note: If you need assistance, tap the CONTACT US button. This will open your Mail app so you can send an email to our Technical Support Team.
HOME SCREEN OPTIONS
BACKUP EVERYTHING:
- When you tap the “Backup Everything” button, the app will start to back up all your photos, videos, and contacts. This is a comprehensive backup solution that ensures all your important data is safely stored.
BACKUP PHOTOS/VIDEOS:
- Select “Backup Photos/Videos” to choose specific media files for backup. You can either backup all photos/videos or select specific ones.
- Select “Backup All” to back up all the Photos and Videos.
- If you want to backup specific photos, Tap "Add wonderful moments", you’ll be directed to a page where you can select the images you want to back up.
- A checkmark will appear on the selected images, Tap "Backup All". After that, it will give you an option whether you want it to be saved to an existing folder or you want to create a new folder.
- Once you have selected a folder, the backup will start. Once done, A prompt message will show that says "Backup Complete". These photos will be stored in a folder in “View Backup Storage”.
NOTE: Can Delete Photos: This is where you can see the total count of the photos that were initially backed up into the Datalogixx and you can delete them to Release the 1.78GB space on your phone.
BACKUP CONTACTS:
- Tap “Backup Contacts”, You’ll the lists of contacts that needs to be backed up, Tap "Backup All".
- Once the backup is successful, you will get a prompt checkmark and it will then show that there are "No contacts can be backup".
VIEW BACKUP STORAGE:
- You can check any folder here at any time to see any of the backups that have been previously saved into folders. For example, if you want to view the photos you just backed up, tap “View Backup”, then “Selected Backup Folder”, and finally the specific folder you’d like to see.
USE CAMERA:
- To take pictures and videos using your Mo Disk, choose this option. Then, please allow all the permissions to grant access. It will then give you the option at the top whether you want to take a PHOTO or VIDEO.Once the Photo or Video has been taken, it will be save directly to the Datalogixx device.
HAMBURGER MENU
The hamburger menu is the Mo Disk's Settings and this can be found in the upper left corner of your screen. This menu is represented by three horizontal lines. To open it, simply tap these lines.
- Cache: This is where temporary data is stored for quick access.
- Language: This setting allows you to change the app’s language to your preferred one.
- Third-party Open Setting: When this setting is enabled, you will have the flexibility to choose which media player to use when playing your video.
- Format: This option allows you to format the Datalogixx. Additionally, you can check the available storage left here.
- Backup: This feature provides several options for backing up your data
- Auto Backup: If enabled, your files will automatically be backed up once you plug the Datalogixx into your phone.
- Delete Local Data After Backup: This option, when enabled, will automatically delete the files on your phone after the backup is complete.
- Clear Backup Data: This will delete all the backed-up files on your Datalogixx.
- About: Here, you can find information about the app, such as the firmware and app version.
- Help: This will direct you to the Datalogixx website where you can get assistance from live agents.
- Get Help: This section contains Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) that can provide quick answers to common queries.
