Your lock comes pre-set with the default combination 0-0-0. Follow these detailed instructions to personalize your lock with a unique combination that only you know.

Step 1: Prepare the Lock

  1. Start by ensuring the dials are set to 0-0-0, the factory default combination.
  2. If the dials are not already at 0-0-0, rotate them until they align correctly.
  3. This step ensures that the lock is in its original state before resetting.

Step 2: Locate and Press the Reset Button

  1. Find the reset button (a) on the body of the lock. It is typically a small, recessed button that may require firm pressure.
  2. Using a pointed object (such as a pen tip or a small tool), press and hold the reset button down firmly.
  3. Keep holding the button until you hear a distinct "CLICK" sound.
  4. The "CLICK" sound confirms that the lock is ready to accept a new combination (refer to Pic. 1).

Step 3: Set Your New Combination

  1. While continuing to hold the reset button, begin adjusting the dials (b).
  2. Rotate each dial to select your desired combination.
  3. Choose a combination that is easy for you to remember but difficult for others to guess (e.g., 8-8-8 or another preferred sequence).
  4. Ensure each number is correctly aligned before proceeding to the next step.

Step 4: Save and Confirm Your New Combination

  1. Once your new combination is set, locate the button (c) on the lock.
  2. Gently pull button (c) in the direction indicated by the arrow (refer to Pic. 2).
  3. As the button resets, you will hear another "CLICK" sound, confirming that your new combination has been successfully stored in the lock’s memory.

Step 5: Test Your New Combination

  1. Rotate the dials away from your newly set combination to scramble the numbers.
  2. Try unlocking the lock by re-entering your new combination.
  3. Pull button (c) to open the lock.
  4. If the lock opens smoothly, your new combination has been correctly set.
