Here are the steps to download photos from Google Photos to Clickfree on PC, Android, and iOS:
Downloading Photos from Google Photos to Android:
- Open Google Photos App: Launch the Google Photos app on your Android device.
- Select Photo: Tap on the photo you want to download.
- Download: Tap the 3 horizontal dots (More options) in the upper right-hand corner and choose “Download” from the menu that appears. If the photo or video is already on your device, this option won’t appear.
- Photo Saved: The photo will be saved to your device’s local storage, typically in the ‘Downloads’ or ‘Photos’ folder.
Downloading Photos from Google Photos to iOS (iPhone or iPad):
- Open Google Photos App: Open the Google Photos app on your iOS device. You can download it from the App Store if you don't have it installed.
- Select Photo: Navigate to the album containing the photo you want to download. Tap and hold the photo to select it.
- You can also select multiple photos at once by tapping on additional photos while one is selected.
- Save Image: After selecting the photo(s), tap the ‘Share’ icon (a box with an arrow pointing upwards). From the menu that pops up, select “Save to device.”
- Photo Saved: The image will be downloaded and saved to your device, typically in the ‘Photos’ app under ‘Recents’.
Downloading Photos from Google Photos to Computer:
- Open Google Photos: Go to photos.google.com on your computer.
- Select Photos: Choose the photo or video you want to download. You can also download multiple photos and videos at once.
- Download Option: Click on “More” (three dots) and select “Download.”
- Photo Saved: If you downloaded a single photo or video, it will appear in the Downloads folder. If you download multiple photos and videos, they will be saved in a zip file in the Downloads folder.
Once you download those photos and videos, you can back them up on the Clickfree device.
